Annual Placitas Holiday Market coming Nov. 23-24
PLACITAS — The weekend before Thanksgiving, Placitas’ fourth annual Holiday Market returns just in time for the holiday season; admission is free.
The Holiday Market will run 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 23-24 and extend to seven different sites. All sites will be located on or near Highway 165, and people are encouraged to follow the candy cane signage to the market sites.
The Holiday Markets will feature local art, crafts, food and drinks. Holiday Market attendees can pick up a map at any venue site or obtain a copy online.

Here is a breakdown of each Holiday Market site:
Wild Hearts GalleryAn art collective of 16 members that features painters, sculptors, potters, photographers, print makers, jewelers, woodworkers, glass, fiber and mosaic artists. A portion of sales will benefit Rebuilding Together Sandoval County.
Placitas Community Library
With a Holiday Fiesta theme, the library will feature 14 artists, a raffle benefiting library programs, a bake sale and a book sale.
Placitas WineryThis micro-winery will feature 26 artists, a raffle, wine, beer, cocktails and food to warm the spirits. Raffle sales benefit the Placitas Elementary School art program.
Historic Las Placitas Presbyterian Church
The church will feature artwork of 17 artists and hand-selected crafters. Sales will benefit Placitas Artists Series, a nonprofit that produces annual music performances and art exhibitions in the church.
Historic San
Antonio Mission This location will feature 15 local artisans, a raffle and an array of New Mexican foods. Sales will benefit their ongoing philanthropic projects.
Placitas Elementary School
PES will feature more than 25 artists, a raffle and bake sale benefiting the school’s educational programs.
Placitas Community Senior Center
The Placitas Community Senior Center will host a variety of artwork and crafts from 20 artisans.
