An occupant in one vehicle involved in a car accident was found dead at around 1:35 p.m. Aug. 27 at the corner of Southern Boulevard and Trevino Road.
Rio Rancho Police Department confirmed the person suffered from a medical episode, which caused the crash.
"The investigation is still active at this time. The name of the decedent will not be released until next of kin has been notified," Capt. Jacquelynn Reedy stated.
