Legislators to hold pre-session community meeting

RIO RANCHO —Several Rio Rancho legislators will be hosting a public meeting to discuss capital outlays Jan. 6.

Legislators planning on attending are Sen. Craig Brandt, District 40; Sen.-elect Jay Block, District 12; House Republican Whip Alan Martinez, District 23; Rep. Joshua Hernandez, District 60; and Rep.-elect Catherine Cullen, District 57.

The meeting is set to run from 6-8 p.m. in the school board meeting room at Rio Rancho Public Schools, 500 Laser Road NE.

The annual event provides an opportunity for the community to engage with their legislators, learn about capital outlay priorities, request capital outlay for projects and share input on key projects.
