Man taken to hospital with gunshot wound

RIO RANCHO — One man has been taken to a hospital following a shooting in Northern Meadows.
The Rio Rancho Police Department confirmed March 11 that one man was injured in a shooting near Clayton Meadows Drive.
“Rio Rancho police responded to an incident near Clayton Meadows park where a male subject was found to have sustained a gunshot wound,” RRPD stated.
The male subject was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital downtown by ground ambulance and police are processing the scene for evidence, according to the statement.
No arrest has been made, the statement said.
