Electronics recycling event returns to Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel
Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel is teaming up with Albuquerque Recycling, Inc. to keep electronics out of landfills and protect the environment by hosting an electronics recycling event.
Guests are invited to drop off retired and unused electronics for recycling at the casino from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20.
“Living in a technology-based world where we replace many of our electronics every couple of years, it’s easy to accumulate a lot of electronics that are outdated, broken or that we just don’t use anymore,” said Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel Director of Marketing John Andersen. “Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel’s electronics recycling event gives people an easy and convenient way to get rid of those items that ensures responsible recycling and protects our environment.”
At Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel’s electronics recycling event, Albuquerque Recycling, Inc. will be accepting computers, laptops, printers, tablets, cellphones, computer accessories, stereo equipment, gaming systems, satellite equipment and more. Projection and CRT (cathode ray tube) televisions will not be accepted at this event.
Most electronics will be accepted free of charge; however, a few items have a small disposal fee such as printers and CRT computer monitors. Cash and credit cards are accepted. For a complete list of accepted items and prices, visit www.albuquerquerecycling.net or call 505-990-3732.
