Lobos' 2024 Spring Game is Saturday
Cleveland High alum Luke Wysong, a two-time Gatorade recipient, hopes to stay healthy and play a big role for the 2024 Lobos.
Four weeks of practices are down with one week is left, but head coach Bronco Mendenhall and staff are ready to showcase the 2024 University of New Mexico Lobos, or at least a very early incarnation of the 2024 Lobos to fans with the 2024 Lobo Spring Game. The game, free of charge, will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 20.
It should be a perfect afternoon for the spring game with Albuquerque weather forecasted in the high 70s. There will be plenty of action at the event as UNM’s players are ready for action, including several from Rio Rancho high schools — such as Nic Trujillo, Jayden Morgan, Luke Wysong and others.
The University Stadium gates will open at 12:30 p.m., and fans can park for free in the Stadium West parking lot and enter the stadium through gates 3 and 4 (west side of the stadium) and the northwest corner entrance opposite Isotopes Park.
A Mini-Howl Zone will be set up on the north concourse, and fans will be able to sit in the west stands. Fans arriving early will be able to get their hands on a limited-edition 2024 schedule poster while supplies last, and limited concessions will be available at the top of the West grandstand.
After game, fans will be able to come onto the field for an autograph session.
The game will look like a traditional game with the No. 1 offense facing the No. 1 defense, and the No. 2 offense facing the No. 2 defense.
Fans are asked to not post any game action on any social media platforms.
UNM’s Clear Bag Policy is in place for the game.
Season ticket sales are currently ongoing for the 2024 season. All season tickets purchased before June 3 will be eligible for the team's 2024 season ticket holder gift, which for 2024 is a commemorative coin. Visit GoLobos.com for tickets and more.
