Rio Rancho looking for residents to fill city board vacancies
RIO RANCHO — The city of Rio Rancho is asking qualified residents to apply for seats on its commissions, boards and committees.
The call comes as 10 different public bodies face vacancies now or will in the near future, the city wrote in a statement on its website. A total of 21 positions are open for applications, the website stated.
The public bodies and positions open include:
Arts Commission: District 2 and District 5.
Capital Improvements Plan Citizen’s Advisory Committee: At-large
Ethics Panel: Four seats.
Investment Advisory Board: District 2 and District 3.
Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful Committee: District 2 and at-large.
Lodger’s Tax Advisory Board: Lodging and tourism.
Parks and Recreation Commission: District 2 and District 4
Planning and Zoning Board: District 1.
Public Infrastructure Advisory Board: District 3, District 4, District 5 and at-large.
Senior Services Advisory Board: District 2 and District 6.
Applications will be accepted until positions are filled, the city stated.
Residents can apply at rrnm.gov/applicationform or submit application materials to Rio Rancho City Hall, 3200 Civic Center Circle.
