2026 municipal election candidate callout

The Rio Rancho Observer is inviting candidates in March's municipal elections in Rio Rancho and Bernalillo to submit guest columns of up to 450 words.

Columns must focus on the candidate's platform and plans for the community. References to opponents will not be allow to avoid requests for rebuttals. Any space referencing opponents will be forfeited. 

Columns will be run on a first-come, first-published basis. Submissions, including a headshot, should be emailed to editor@rrobserver.com by noon Thursday, Feb. 19, in order to meet print deadlines ahead of the March 3 municipal election.
