Wonders on Wheels to stop in Rio Rancho
RIO RANCHO — The Wonders on Wheels Mobile Museum will be stopping in Rio Rancho this month.
The tour, "Eight Sites, One History: Explore the Past at New Mexico Historic Sites" will be at the Loma Colorado Main Library from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 3. It will then travel to the Santo Domingo Pueblo Library from 3-5 p.m.
The mobile museum is a division of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs, and the exhibit highlights distinctive stories revealed at the state's eight sites, including indigenous lifeways, Spanish settlement, U.S. statehood and more. Participants can also participate in hands-on learning activities. It is free and open to the public.
