County issues storm warning
SANDOVAL COUNTY — There is a chance of sleet and snow in Sandoval County this week.
Sandoval County issued a storm warning Jan. 7 ahead of the weather.
"Winter Storm Warning in Effect from 1/7/2026 at 11 PM to 1/9/2026 at 11 AM for Sandoval County," a social media post states.
Temperatures in comparison to December's heat will be lower and possibly low enough for snow this week.
According to Albuquerque National Weather Service, the chance of precipitation will be elevated starting Wednesday evening, continuing through Friday.
