Sandoval County Polling Places 2025 Regular Local Election finalized

BERNALILLO — The Sandoval County Commission approved an amendment to the county’s Election Day polling places for the 2025 regular local election set for November.

The final amendment, passed Sept. 24 at the regular county commission meeting, was necessary because construction at the Hahn Center in Cochiti Pueblo will not be completed by Election Day, according to Deputy County Clerk Joey Dominguez. The governor requested the relocation to be at the Cochiti Pueblo Community Center, near the Hahn Center. Amendments also took care of some typos that Dominguez noticed.

Positions up for election include municipal seats for councilors, trustees and judges in Corrales, Jemez Springs and San Ysidro. The Rio Rancho municipal election is scheduled March 2026. It also covers seats on school boards in Albuquerque, Cuba, Jemez and Rio Rancho school districts. There are also four college board member seats up for grabs.

Positions for both the eastern and southern Sandoval County Arroyo Flood Control Authorities also have director positions up for election.

Additionally, there are several soil and water conservation districts, water and sanitation districts, public improvement districts and tax increment development districts scheduled for the ballot.
