RIO RANCHO — The Rio Rancho Police Department will have a car seat clinic from 9-11 a.m. Sept. 27 at Target.
Certified technicians will be on site to not only check seat installation but also make sure the seat is the right fit for age, height and weight.
The techs will also answer any questions and provide safety tips.
According to a RRPD social media post on the event, three out of four seats are installed incorrectly.
Children and car seats must be present, it adds. This free event is open to the public.
