Regular election candidates must file next week

The deadline for candidates for to file for the November election is next week.
Sandoval County Clerk Anne Brady-Romero said prospective candidates must submit their declarations of candidacy and candidate qualification documents on Tuesday, Aug. 29.
The paperwork can be filed that day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Commission Chambers on the third floor of the County Administration Building D.
“To be on the ballot for the November 7, 2023 regular local election, candidates must file on August 29, 2023,” Brady-Romero said.
