Observer website gets a makeover

Dear Rio Rancho Observer Subscribers,

Over the years, many of you have shared comments and concerns about the user experience on our website. Your feedback has not fallen on deaf ears. Meaningful change takes time, and I’m excited to let you know about improvements we’re rolling out this week to make your digital experience smoother, faster and more enjoyable.

For those of you who may be skeptical when an organization makes changes to your products, I understand those concerns. If you love the feel and smell of newsprint, nothing is changing. Your home delivery will continue exactly as it always has, and our commitment to journalistic integrity, truthfulness, fairness and accountability is steadfast. Yet, we recognize that those principles are diminished if our content is difficult to access across all mediums.

With that in mind, we have designed tech enhancements to provide you a digital experience that not only works in partnership with our printed paper but also functions alongside you, as your life requires. Beginning Thursday, you’ll see a refreshed look and upgraded functionality on our website. 

Our website address, rrobserver.com, will also stay, so your saved bookmarks will continue to work. All Manage Account features will remain available as well, allowing subscribers to continue to manage your account, submit delivery concerns, make payments, review transactions and update passwords. While we hope this process will be seamless, there may be a few glitches, as is expected with any tech update. Know that we value your feedback, as your input plays a key role in helping us continue to improve your experience and expand accessibility to information you can trust.
