Nominations open for Rio Rancho School Board Hall of Honor Award

RIO RANCHO — Rio Rancho Public Schools is accepting nominations for the 2026 School Board Hall of Honor Award.

The award, created in 2014, is meant to “recognize extraordinary service over an extended period of time to the children of Rio Rancho and the Rio Rancho Public Schools community,” according to a school district news release.

Those eligible include former RRPS staff members (who are separated from the district for a minimum of one year), school district volunteers, school board members, government officials, community members or businesses.

Nominations will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. Nov. 30.
