NEW MEXICO – New Mexico Gas Company announced that starting Sept. 12, customers will have more options for paying their monthly natural gas bill.

“This change is all about convenience for our customers,” NMGC President Ryan Shell said.

According to a release, customers can save their preferred methods to use with future payments. As before, customers can pay in person at any New Mexico Gas Company walk-in payment center, by mail and through Western Union locations.

As part of the change, online or automated telephone payments will not be accepted between 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, and 9 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 12.

With the new options, customers may notice differences in the look of the NMGC payment website, but payment functions will be similar and easy to navigate, the release states.

“These new options reflect our focus on meeting customer expectations. We are pleased that we were able to reduce the residential payment fee by 20 cents,” Shell said.
