NM COVID-19 weekend case count, test positivity rate remain low

The state’s latest COVID-19 case count and test positivity rate numbers remain low.

The New Mexico Department of Health reported Monday there were 346 new COVID-19 cases over three days, an average of a little more than 115 new cases per day, with a test positivity rate of 2.3 percent.

As of Monday, 119 people were hospitalized in New Mexico with COVID-19, with 20 on ventilators. The state also reported 12 new COVID-19 deaths from the past three days on Monday.
