The city of Rio Rancho Municipal election early voting session ends March 2, and voters are making their last-minute stop to get their votes in.

David DeAtley, of Rio Rancho, was directing voter traffic at Loma Colorado Main Library.

“It’s been going well. We’re busier today than yesterday,” he said Friday.

DeAtley tries to help with voting whenever he can.

“No bumps in the road yet,” he added.

The room was hardly crowded at the library, but there were a few people casting votes.

Official voting day is Tuesday, March 5. Election results will be available online at rrobserver.com.

Voting will be open 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Voters may vote at any of the following polling locations, regardless of where they are registered to vote within the city of Rio Rancho. Seats are open for city council in Districts 1, 4 and 6, and there are three municipal bond measures on the ballots. Candidate interviews and information on the bonds can be found on the Observer YouTube page.
