SANTA ANA PUEBLO — The Albuquerque FBI Field Office confirmed March 12 it is investigating vandalism at the Tesla Dealership at US 550 and NM 528.

The Albuquerque Hot Spot Social Media News Page posted photos of the aftermath of the vandalism. The photos show at least one car was set on fire and several Tesla Cybertrucks were spray painted with swastikas.

“The Elon protests have now hit the NM @teslamotors dealership,” it reads.

The FBI said it could not provide any further information about the incident.

Sandoval County Democrats have announced it will protest Elon Musk in front of the building March 13. However, There is no indication that the vandalism is related to ongoing protests at the dealership that kicked off last week, the FBI said (see story on A1).

Regional Tesla managers have not yet responded to inquiries.
