Electronics recycling event set for Saturday
SANTA ANA PUEBLO — Santa Ana Star Casino Hotel and Albuquerque Recycling, Inc., are hosting an electronics recycling event from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, April 26, at the casino.
The event will accept computers, laptops, printers, tablets, cellphones, computer accessories, stereo equipment, gaming systems, satellite equipment and more in an effort to keep such items out of landfills. Projection and cathode ray tube televisions will note be accepted.
Most items will be accepted free of charge, but some items, such as printers and CRT computer monitors will have a disposal fee that can be paid by cash or credit card. A complete list of accepted items and prices can be found at albuquerquerecycling.net or by calling 505-405-8289.
