Cuba Senior Center operating out of fairgrounds due to mold
CUBA — Sandoval County announced Sept. 26 that its Cuba Senior Center will now operate from the Community Center at the County Fairgrounds, 57 Rodeo Road, Cuba.
The center, previously located in the village of Cuba Administrative Offices, opened Monday morning, according to a release.
“The senior center, a gathering space for area seniors, provides meals, activities, and other programming,” it reads.
According to county leadership, the move was necessary because mold was discovered in the administrative offices. The senior center will remain at the fairgrounds for the foreseeable future.
