County to hold free half-day at landfill

RIO RANCHO — Sandoval County Landfill will have a free half day from 8 a.m. to noon May 17 if weather permits.

Free per-trip limitations are four tires, two televisions and 10 gallons of household hazardous waste.

Sandoval County, Rio Rancho and Bernalillo partnered to make the landfill day possible. The landfill is located at 2708 Iris Road in Rio Rancho.
