ALBUQUERQUE — Just over the hill from Rio Rancho on Coors Bypass a water main break has shut down the road.

The Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority posted Feb. 24 that the northbound lanes of the road would be closed for several days as crews repair the break near Eagle Ranch Road.

Drivers are encouraged to avoid the area, the post said.

"Customers in the area may experience an interruption of water service until the repairs can be made. Crews are working to make the repairs as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience," it states.

Information will shared as it becomes available.
