More than 100 Rio Rancho residents turned out on a chilly Friday Veterans Day to salute the area’s veterans.

The parade ran from County Club Drive to Pinetree Rd. and got underway at about 10:15 a.m.

Residents and children held American flags, some that were passed out by Rio Rancho Mayor Gregg Hull, who walked the parade route handing out flags.

Among parade participants were floats that included local Boy Scouts, a memorial for WIA, KIA vets, motorcyles and cars flying American flags.

Here is a slide show of the parade.
