City announces list of qualified municipal candidates

The Rio Rancho city clerk announced the candidates who qualified for candidacy for March’s municipal election Jan. 12.
Those who have filed as candidates for office and who have been qualified by the Rio Rancho Office of the City Clerk are:
District 1 city councilor (four-year term)
- Jim Owen (incumbent)
- Thomas N. Gentry III
- Deborah S. Dapson
District 4 city councilor (four-year term)
- Raymond Anthony Archibeque
- Paul M. Wymer (incumbent)
- Alexandria C. Piland
District 6 city councilor (four-year term)
- Edward Lynn Paulsgrove
- Chris J. Vanden-Heuvel
- Nicole Dahn List (incumbent)
- Aleta P. Suazo
Each qualified candidate will appear on the official ballot, unless a signed and notarized statement of withdrawal is submitted to the cityc clerk within seven days of the declaration of candidacy filing date.
