The Rio Rancho Astronomical Society will host its monthly meeting at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

The meeting will be in person at Rainbow Park Observatory, 301 Southern Blvd., and via Zoom. The Zoom link is at rrastro.org.

RRAS member Darin Templet will demonstrate the care and maintenance of telescopes, including how to clean optics safely. A stargaze with telescopes will follow the meeting, weather permitting.

Both the meeting and stargaze are free and open to the public.
