Gallery: Construction begins at King Blvd., bike lane closed

The widening project for King Blvd. began on January 3 with orange barrels seen along the side.

For now, the bike lane is closed on either side and traffic is running as usual.

The speed limit is reduced to 35 miles per hour.

As the project moves forward residents and travelers can expect lane closures.

The project is set to finish in September.
