The last day of Balloon Fiesta was highly anticipated but was a complete success.
After a week of grounded balloons, the crowd was ecstatic when the green flag flew. There were cheers, shouts and even some screams.
Individuals everywhere on the field could be seen making fist pumps, claps and victory stances. Others stood there shivering though.
The possibility that balloons would be grounded yet again that morning was hanging in the chilled air. But when it came down to it, it was a truly perfect morning for balloons to take off.
