Youth can ‘attack’ art

Art classes at Star Heights Recreation Center have been so popular that the City of Rio Rancho is bringing them back.

In “Art Attack,” 11- to 16-year-olds will explore drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, mixed media and printmaking.

Students will create their own masterpieces each week. Classes meet 6-7:30 Monday and Wednesday nights, starting the week of Feb. 7.

The cost is $50.
