ALBUQUERQUE- One of the biggest food truck events of the year is returning for its third year. The Duke City Foodie Fest at Cliff’s Amusement Park in Albuquerque is set for April 12-13.

The two-day event was created and hosted by Delectable Baking Company, a Rio Rancho bakery. Admission to the event is free.

“Let’s make this free so that people can spend more on food trucks than a ticket,” Xandria Molinari said, who is one of the owners of Delectable Baking Company.

The Duke City Foodie Fest will include local food trucks, vendors, music, a kids area, a bouncy house and some food judging awards. Food judges at the event will be on site and are composed of local foodies, influencers, chefs, restaurant owners and more.

“We are expecting 80 food trucks between the two days ... just everything food,” Molinari said, who also mentioned that the idea for The Duke City Foodie Fest came as a way to give local food trucks a business boom before the busy summer season hits.

Delectable Baking Company is owned by Dominic and Xandria Molinari and started as a pop-up during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“People can expect a mixture of New Mexico’s best food trucks. We also have food trucks traveling (from) out of state,” Molinari said. “We have different food trucks each day, so definitely try and make some space to come both days just so you can see what new trucks we have.”
