VIDEO: Bad Ass Coffee celebrates Bernalillo location’s grand re-opening with taste of Hawaiian culture

The coffee chain's Bernalillo, New Mexico location was temporarily closed last year due to the road construction, as well as declining sales during the COVID-19 pandemic.
It reopened on Monday, April 11, 2022, and the official grand re-opening ceremony was held on Friday, May 13, 2022.
Cindi Heffner and Les Heffner of Ha`aheo O Hawai`i, an Albuquerque-based company that teaches hula dancing and shares Hawaiian culture, led two chants to celebrate the occasion on Friday. Two donkeys also made an appearance, and Bad Ass Coffee CEO Scott Snyder spoke to the Rio Rancho Observer about the reopening.
