Considering the escalation of home values, it would be pretty safe to say first-time homebuyers aren’t exactly flocking to Corrales and Placitas. Rio Rancho home prices are, well, on the edge.
Homes in Corrales had the second fastest rate of growth in New Mexico from May 2021, according to a new report. Placitas was sixth and Rio Rancho was 10th. The report, by Stacker, showed that Corrales home values rocketed to $646, 537. Placitas came in sixth at $622,121 and Rio Rancho a relatively affordable $317,143. The highest value? Los Alamos at a whopping $807,573.
