Real estate development organization NAIOP next year will become the Commercial Real Estate Development Association, or CREDA.
NAIOP New Mexico President Adam Silverman announced the name change Tuesday at the organization’s July luncheon, held at Sheraton Albuquerque Uptown.
He said it’s a national change, so all 55 chapters that are part of the association will adopt it. It will take effect in June 2026, he said.
“We are giving you guys an advanced preview,” Silverman said. “We want to make sure everybody is getting the message that we are changing our official name to Commercial Real Estate Development Association.”
He said association members can expect an email soon from the corporate chapter with more timeline details, including for new branding and letterheads.
