BHS hosting Native pride week to celebrate indigenous heritage

BERNALILLO — The Bernalillo High School Spartans are hosting a Native pride week to celebrate their indigenous heritage and cultural diversity.

The pride week will be from Nov. 18-22, and includes several themes.

Here is the week laid out: "Masani" Monday, "Bougie Natives #Turquoise" Tuesday, "Medicine Wheel Color Day" Wednesday, "Big Braid Energy" Thursday, and Ribbon Skirts or Shirts Friday.

After school on Monday, there will also be a showing of the Netlfix movie "Rezball" in the Blackbox theater on campus.
