BERNALILLO — The Bernalillo Youth Basketball Program opened registration for the upcoming 2024-25 season this week.

The BYBP is offered for youth ages 5-13.

The BYBP will feature four divisions: the peewees (ages 5-6), the juniors (ages 7-8), the minors (ages 9-10), and the seniors (ages 11-13).

Each division will have 60 kids, each team will play a 10-game season, and spots are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.

The cost for each player is $60, and another $30 for each additional sibling.

Payment will be due at the time of registration at the Town Hall Water Department, and no payments will be accepted at the Bernalillo Recreation center. However, receipt of payment must be brought to the Bernalillo Recreation Center to complete the process.

Players must be 5 years old by Oct.1, 2024, and players turning 14 before Jan. 1, 2025, are not eligible play for BYBP.
