This is how the Cleveland High Concert Hall looked, ready for high school wrestling — until the plan was scrapped Tuesday.

evening, Storm wrestling coach Evan Copeland came up with an idea to have the meet staged — on a stage — in the school’s Concert Hall.

CTE students built what was needed for the mat to be set there, including lighting and a spotlight, and the boys’ and girls’ dual matches with visiting Roswell High School looked good to go.

Until Tuesday afternoon, anyway. The Observer has learned the matches won’t take place, because “the fire marshal has shut down the wrestling match.” And, apparently, there were some concerns from RRPS about liability.
