Tenpins: Qualifiers in NMO continue, 13th masters finals Independence Day

Qualifiers for the New Mexico Open Bowling Tournament are continuing at Tenpins & More in Rio Rancho.
According to owner Steve Mackie, United States Masters bowling champion, DeeRonn Booker of Albuquerque returned to the local lanes at Tenpins & More in Rio Rancho last week to win his way into the New Mexico Open tournament the bowling alley will host Aug. 16-18.
Upcoming qualifiers at Tenpins & More are scheduled for Saturday, July 13; Sunday, July 28; and Sunday, Aug. 11.
A smaller but just as exciting tournament will fill Tenpins July 4.
"There will be fireworks of a different kind on Thursday, July 4, when 36 men, women and youth bowlers take to the lanes for the 13th Summer Masters finals at Tenpins & More," Mackie writes.
The tournament is part of the Summer Games, which concluded last weekend with more than 140 players trying to win titles in teams of four, doubles and singles events, offering a total of more than $ 3,400 in prizes.
