Storm sweep again, now 3-0 in volleyball
The Cleveland High School volleyball team, minus the six on the court, watches teammates Marian Hatch (12), the Storm’s setter, and middle blocker Lauren Snippen (4) get up for a block in the sweep at Albuquerque Academy Tuesday evening. The Storm never were threatened, downing the host Chargers 25-16, 25-9, 25-15. Hatch finished with 35 assists; Madelyn del Greco had a team-high 11 kills; libero Aubrey Ortiz came up with 16 digs, and Hatch added a dozen digs. Tonight (Aug. 31), the Rio Rancho High School volleyball team plays host to defending 5A champ La Cueva at 6:30. (Herron photo)
