The 54th annual Sandoval County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo is set for Aug. 16-17.
Youth rodeo will include sheep, calf, steer and junior bull riding. Open rodeo will include saddle bronc, ranch bronc, novice bulls, open bulls, ladies breakaway, tie down roping, chute dogging and open barrels.
Buckles will be awarded in all events.
The youth rodeo will start at 6:30 p.m. Friday and 6 p.m. Saturday. Open rodeo will start at 7:30 p.m. Friday and 7 p.m. Saturday.
There is an admission fee.
The rodeo address is 1043 Rodeo Lane in Bernalillo.
