The Rio Rancho High School varsity cheer team found a ton of success at the Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) Masters Camp in Loveland, Colorado, July 10-13.

RRHS cheer came home with some hardware after placing second in cheer, second in stunt sequence and first in camp routine.

On top of the team success, they also had the male jump-off champion and 10 All-Americans.

According to the UCA website, the Masters Campsare is designed for competitive and performance teams with curriculum focused on skills training to prepare squads for competition, performance and entertainment. The camps focus on challenging cheer squads in skill-building and mastery.

All Masters Camps are staffed one-to-one with top UCA instructors from around the country.

The RRHS cheer team looks ready to make a run at a state title in the upcoming season. Last year, they came in second in the state championship competition.
