Rams, Storm represented on All-State baseball team
The 2024 New Mexico 5A All-State baseball team was released last week, and Rio Rancho has heavy representation on it.
Notably, Casen Savage of Rio Rancho High School was named co-player of the year along with Braiden Reynolds of La Cueva.
Receiving first team honors were Jaden Davis, Cleveland, at pitcher; Storm infielder Jarren Villa; outfielders Dean Ellison and Savage of Rio Rancho High School and Brandon Hennessey for Cleveland; utility player Anthony del Angel, Cleveland; and Rio Rancho's Dylan Archuleta at designated hitter.
Named to the second team were Joseph Stevenson, a pitcher for the Storm, and Ram infielder Nick DiGregorio.
Ryan Lewis, RRHS, received an honorable mention bid at infield.
