Rams' Larrabee is 1-5A softball player of the year

The list of All-District softball players was recently released for 1-5A, and Rio Rancho High School sophomore Lilyrose Larrabee was not only named to the first team but also tabbed as the Offensive Player of the Year.
Apparently, wearing number 13 didn't affect her play on the field. In the classroom, she carries a 4.0 GPA.
Also named to the 1-5A first team from RRHS were Jayden Throgmorton and Delysia Valdez. Cleveland High School's Layla King and Heaven Guevara, a top-notch wrestler, also were named to the first team.
On the second team were Rams Jordyn Tenorio, Destiny Gonzales and Marissa Valdez, plus Maia Thompson and Isabella Chavez of the Storm.
Mia Martinez and Olivia Chavez of RRHS, plus Kiela Chavarillo and Amanda McKinley of CHS, received honorable mention.
