On Aug.11, the stars will align for anyone who loves both baseball and golf as the inaugural The Clubs Foundation golf tournament kicks off at Santa Ana Golf Club. All tournament proceeds will go to The CLUBS Foundation scholarship fund, which provides scholarships for student-athletes to offset the high costs of playing club sports, specifically baseball and softball.

The CLUBS Foundation is a New Mexico-based organization providing opportunities for youth to engage in “competitive play and holistic development in both baseball and softball.”

"CLUBS" stands for Changing Lives Using Baseball & Softball.

According to the foundation website, each year the organization raises and distributes more than $100,000 to student-athletes.
