Coon captures third in Utah
The Cleveland High wrestling team was in Orem, Utah, last weekend to compete in the Rockwell Rumble.
165-pound Josh Coon had the best finish for the boys, as he placed third; 106-Roman Luttrell was sixth.
In the girls’ bracket, the Storm’s 110-pound Ashley Smith was runner-up, 120-Heaven Handy and 130-Olivia Hovey finished fourth and 125-Jianna Coon was seventh.
Team-wise, the Storm remained undefeated after three District 1-5A matches when they beat Atrisco Heritage Academy 40-33 Wednesday evening in the South Valley.
