All-State baseball teams announced; four city players on list

The Class 5A All-State baseball selections were released early this week, and Cleveland High pitcher Jace Dominic, seen here, and catcher Braylen Elzy, both seniors, were named to the second team; Storm senior shortstop DJ Sandoval earned honorable mention. Rio Rancho High School senior outfielder Elijah Castañeda, named to the second team, was his team’s lone All-State honoree.
