ALBUQUERQUE — Former University of New Mexico receiver Luke Wysong has decided to transfer to the University of Arizona to continue his collegiate career.

Wysong — a Cleveland High School graduate — had a career year for the Lobos, which included 69 catches, 840 receiving yards, two total touchdowns and a second team All-Mountain West selection.

With one year of eligibility left, Wysong heads to Tucson to catch passes from Wildcat quarterback Noah Fifita.

Wysong is also reunited with former UNM head coach Danny Gonzales, who is a special teams coordinator and linebackers coach on the team.

When UNM played Arizona Aug. 31, Wysong had eight catches, 129 yards and one receiving touchdown.
