Roman Luttrell earns a spot on a national ranking list

RIO RANCHO — Cleveland High School wrestler Roman Luttrell was included on MatScouts’ national ranking list, coming in at the 25th spot.

The talented junior is already a three-time state champion and looks to add another to the his already-crowded trophy case.

On a national level, Luttrell was the 2023 Brian Keck Memorial Preseason Nationals champion in the 113-pound division. He defeated Zaiyahn Ornelas from Team Zapas Wrestling Club to earn first place.

Luttrell should a hot name for collegiate wrestling programs and has already visited Northern Colorado. He remains uncommitted.

MatScouts, launched by wrestling journalist Willie Saylor, is a wrestling scouting and recruiting channel on the Rokfin media platform that provides news, commentary and analysis on all things wrestling.
