Northern Meadows Trunk-or-Treat to aid disabled father

RIO RANCHO — On Oct. 26, there will be a trunk-or-treat event at King Meadows Park from 2-6 p.m. to support a disabled single father who is raising two girls in the Northern Meadows area.

The fundraising event is sponsored by House District 57 candidate Michelle Sandoval, Coldwell Banker Legacy and The Floor Store.

The event will consist of giveaways, a raffle, face painting, a costume contest, a live DJ, a bouncy house, a car show and, of course, trunk-or-treat.

Cars entering the car show will be a charged a $10 registration fee with the funds going to the family in need.

The food trucks scheduled to attend are Sourpuss Lemonade, Burger Knights and Los Alebrijes ,with 10% of the food trucks' earnings going to the family as well.

Other vendors and businesses attending the event include No Wheat All Sweet, Plastic Park, Kool Sips, Frost & Flourish Bakery, Rainy Day on Venus, Enchantment Creations, Cabada Chamoy, Gigi's Crave-able Creations, Creations by Carey, Madonna's Muffins, Shop with Joy, Magic Bounce New Mexico, Kelly's Hope, Craft Squad, Enchanting Reptiles, and Hair Tinsel by Michele.
