RIO RANCHO — The Rio Rancho High School Dance Department held a Master Dance Concert at the Rio Rancho Performing Arts Center May 2.

It was a performance that these students will not forget, especially RRHS seniors Moira Gutierrez and Oryon Anderson, who were singled out by dance instructor Selena Green.

"Dance has always been my passion, and sharing that with my students is an incredible privilege," said Green.

RRHS students performed 12 dances featuring songs from Frank Sinatra, Fleetwood Mac, Frank Ocean, just to name a few.

"Tonight's master-level concert was more than just a performance — it was a reflection of how far they've come and how bright the future of dance can be. I’m inspired by their dedication and excited to see how they’ll continue to shape and evolve our dance community," Green said.

Students who choreographed dances include Gutierrez, Anderson, Lyla Sanchez, Brooklyn Gallegos, Savannah Couch, Brandon Alvarado, and Daisee Arwood. All those listed, with the exception of Alvarado, danced as well.

Other RRHS students dancing in sets include Neveah Aguilar, Emily Burnell, Audrey Cavinder, Asia Chadwick and Madden Kamplain.
