Cleveland Cheer hosting a 'Sideline Camp'

RIO RANCHO — From Oct. 24-25, the Cleveland High school cheer program will be holding a "Sideline Camp," which is open to students in kindergarten through seventh grade.

The camp starts with a kids' clinic from 5-7 p.m. Oct.24, which includes practicing with Storm cheerleaders and dancers, tumbling, stunts, crafts and dinner.

Then, at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 25, campers will participate in a football pre-game tailgate alongside Storm cheerleaders and will cheer with them for the first quarter of the Storm football game.

The camp includes a T-shirt, bow, poms and dinner.

The Cleveland "Sideline Camp" costs $100 per child, and there is a $10 discount for each sibling. Registration will close on Sept. 30.
